Leadership skills are the abilities and qualities that enable an individual to effectively guide and direct a group of people. Some common leadership skills include:
- Communication: the ability to clearly and effectively convey information and ideas, both verbally and in writing.
- Decision-making: the ability to analyze information and make sound decisions.
Strategic thinking: the ability to think ahead and plan for the future. - Emotional intelligence: the ability to understand and manage one’s own emotions and the emotions of others.
- Problem-solving: the ability to identify and solve problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Team building: the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Adaptability: the ability to change and adjust to new situations and environments.
- Vision: the ability to see the big picture and set a clear direction for the team.

Note that not all leaders possess all of these skills and different leaders may have different strengths. Furthermore, leadership skills can be developed through training, education, and experience.
